Start in this rural village to enjoy a moderately hard route that drops down into the countryside and joins the Crompton Circuit.

This route blends Oldham’s industrial past with its natural beauty -  expect to see the remains of former mills, Pingot Quarry and Jubilee Colliery, mixed with pretty hills and woods that ease into Dunwood Park in Shaw, where there is the option to take in a high point that overlooks the scenery or follow a lower, linear path.
