5. Our Community Asset Transfer Policy
We want to ensure residents get the best possible use out of the buildings, green spaces and land that we own.
As part of our Co-operative Agenda and Thriving Communities Vision, we are fully committed to supporting a Co-operative Approach to the Use of Council Assets Policy, which includes Community Asset Transfer.
It is important that groups interested in taking a transfer of a Council asset are fully aware of the responsibilities and obligations they will be taking on.
