Parks Week 2022

Love Parks Week is back, taking place from 29 July to 5 August, giving people across the country the chance to shout about their wonderful green spaces. Whether it’s walking the dog, picnicking with friends, or pushing our little ones on a playground swing, our parks give our communities, our children, and our pets a vital space to play, grow, and bond.

Celebrate #LoveParks Week with these great events:

Oldham Summer Beach at Alexandra Park
In the park until 4 September, 11am – 7.30pm

Saddleworth Yorkshire Day Country Fayre
Uppermill Park (King George V Playing Fields),
Sunday 31 July, 10am – 4pm

Oldham Parkrun
Saturday 30 July, from 9am at Alexandra Park

This year we’re encouraging everyone across Oldham to visit their parks and use the vital spaces when they can.

Make sure you join us on our social media channels and share your selfies and pictures of the parks.
