Description

Young Carers work holistically alongside other family services and we can provide you and your family with different levels of support.

Oldham Young Carers define a young carer as:

"A child or young person who, without payment, provides help or support to a parent, sibling or other family member, who could not manage without their help. This could be due to age, physical or mental illness, addiction or disability."

Our keyworkers provide a range of diversionary activities both during term time and during the holidays. We also provide one to one support to all young carers when needed.
