The Council for Disabled Children has produced a booklet that explains all you need to know about the SEND Code of Practice, how needs can be identified and how services will work with you to meet the needs of your child.

The code of practice sets out 4 broad areas of need that can be identified in children and young people. Often children and young people have overlapping needs across these areas.
