Apply for a school place 2012 - 13

Primary schools

The online admissions process for the primary school year starting September 2012 is now closed.

Applications received after 12 January 2012 will be considered as late applications and will be allocated a school place after those received before 12 January. Contact the School Admissions Team for an application

Secondary schools

The online admissions process for the secondary school year starting September 2012 is now closed.

Applications received after 31 October 2011 will be considered as late applications and will be allocated a school place after those received before 31 October. Contact the School Admissions Team for an application

Waiting list position

Information where your child is on the waiting list will be available from the School Admissions Team from 21st May 2012

Appeals 

Appeals 2012/13 academic year

If your child does not get into your preferred school, you may appeal the decision.

Appeals 2011/12 academic year

If your appeal form has not been acknowledged within seven days you should contact Business Support Services, please call 0161 770 8965 or write to the above address. Alternatively, please email schoolappeals@oldham.gov.uk

The deadline for submitting an appeal form for primary school places is 25th May 2012

Primary and Secondary School in Year Transfers

If you live in Oldham and want to transfer your child to another school, you must apply through Oldham Council even if the school is in another area.
