About the Sarah Anne Lees Charitable Trust grant
The Sarah Anne Lees Charitable Trust provides grants to charities registered with the Charity Commission whose aims are in line with the work of the Trust.
What the grant can be used for
The Trust supports charities that provide training and learning to help people develop the life skills they need to manage:
- financial hardship
- social or economic deprivation
- social exclusion
- poor mental or physical health
What happens after you apply
Your application will be considered at the next meeting of the Charitable Trust Committee.
The Committee may contact you if it needs more information before making a decision.
You will be notified in writing whether your application has been successful. Successful applicants will also be told what happens next.
If you receive a grant
Any grant awarded must only be used for the purposes described in your application.
The Committee may ask you to provide invoices or other evidence to show how the grant has been used.
If some or all of the grant is not used for the agreed purpose, the Committee may ask for some or all of the money to be returned.
