Some My Account services will be unavailable from 5pm Thu 5 March to Tue 10 March while we calculate Council Tax bills and Housing Benefit awards for 2026/27. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Affected services

Report a change in circumstances

If you claim Council Tax Support and/or Housing Benefit, you must tell the council if any of your circumstances change, including if:

  • You no longer require benefit.
  • You have moved, or are moving, to another address within the borough.
  • You or your partner have had a change in income.
  • Your Housing Benefit is currently suspended because you or your partner’s DWP benefits have ended. (You will need to tell us about your or your partner’s income since your benefit ended, e.g. wages, hardship payments, or no income.)
  • You have had a change in household members.
  • There are any other changes, such as:
    • Changing who we pay benefits to (partner/spouse)
    • Changing your bank account details
    • Changes to your property
    • Changes to your capital
