Life at school

Generally, neither your child’s school nor the council can be held responsible for loss or damage to your child’s belongings unless the school has clearly accepted possession of them.

Pupils should not take anything expensive into school unless it is really necessary. Items such as musical instruments and computers/games should be privately insured.
