Having the right equipment at home can make life much easier for you day to day.

Ask for an assesment

Our Community Occupational Therapy Team can carry out an assessment to get a clearer picture of the difficulties that you are having (e.g. bathing, climbing stairs, or transferring from a chair to a bed). They can guide you on the best equipment for your needs and inform you about other available services.

There is a wide range of equipment and assistive technology that can be used in your home to make your life easier and to help you stay independent. In addition to traditional telecare alarms, smart devices -  such as Alexa and Siri - have a wealth of features that can make living independently so much easier.

This equipment provides you, your carers, family and friends, with the reassurance that help is available to you for every-day tasks and in an emergency 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
