Did you know that modern real nappies are completely different from the old style terry nappies?

They are very easy to use and care for and could save you hundreds of pounds compared to disposable nappies.

If you choose to use real nappies, Oldham Council will give you £30 towards the cost of buying your own* when spending £50 or more

* Please note that the voucher is only to be used when purchasing washable nappies at the designated outlets.

Why choose real nappies?

Real nappies are made from natural materials (usually cotton) and are chemical free. The waterproof wraps are made from soft, breathable fabrics. This is all better for your baby’s skin.

  • Good for the environment
  • Easy to use – real nappies don’t need pins or complicated folding. Most are fixed with poppers or Velcro making them very safe and easy to use
  • Easy to care for – real nappies only require a machine wash at 60 degrees
  • Good variety – real nappies are available in a large variety of designs and patterns

All you need to do to claim your £30 voucher is:

Decide from which designated supplier you wish to purchase your washable nappies. 

Have a good look at their websites, or give them a ring to discuss your needs, or order a catalogue.

Please do not order any items before you have the voucher number.
