The AV Davies charity provides financial support and assistance to residents living in the Shaw and Crompton areas, or organisations helping residents living in these areas. Help is usually provided through the purchase of goods or services for a specific purpose.

The charity can help with the purchase of replacement essential household items, such as furniture, cookers, washing machines, etc. Help can also be provided for other essential costs, for example, flooring or small household repairs. 

If you are in hardship and need help, complete the application form below. You will need to provide evidence of your income and some expenditure, and may be signposted to other help that may also be available.

Before you begin...

You will need digital copies of the following to complete this application form:

  • Wage slips
  • Benefit entitlement letters
  • Recent bank statements
  • Estimated costs for services required etc

Organisations

Help may be provided to organisations who support residents living in the Shaw and Crompton areas. Funding could be offered to provide goods or services that will benefit the residents of Shaw and Crompton who are in hardship, such as luncheon clubs, community groups, items or equipment for clubs etc.
