Hourly rate for under 3's is £6.50 per hour and for children aged 3 and over it is £5.50 per hour. This is due to increase in April 2024

How do you identify special educational needs and disabilities?

By observing children, speaking with parents, monitoring their progress using the early year’s outcomes tracker, speaking with health visitors.

How do you involve parents/carers?

2 year assessments, parent meetings, transitions, parents evening.

How do you support a child’s learning and development?

Put plans in place when necessary. Adapt activities, resources and environment to support child's learning and needs involve outside agencies when and where necessary involve parents.

How do you meet a child’s educational needs?

Monitoring and reviewing progress regularly good communication ensuring all staff are aware.

How do we know my child is achieving agreed outcomes?

Regular meetings and updates both setting and parent to have any plans in place to support child and give consistency at home

How do you adapt for a child with extra needs?

We adapt them to meet the individuals needs add visual aids where necessary, small groups, resources to be easily accessible lower equipment (tuff trays), move any obstacles

How accessible is your service, outside and inside?

We have a lift to gain access to the indoor area, we have steps to the main garden which has no lift access but we have a ramp from the main road which offers access to the garden.
