Adaptions would be made to suit an individual, following an initial discussion with parents and observations. This may include placing more activities on the floor, moving furniture around to ensure the room is accessible, purchasing more suitable equipment.How accessible is your service, outside and inside?
Our setting is fully accessible.How do you involve children in outings and trips?
We would only plan activities including trips that are fully inclusive. if for any reason they were not, the activity would be changed to ensure it was.How do you work with other organisations?
We are happy to involve outside agencies and ask for their support and guidance when it is needed.How do you support children when they start and leave?
We always try to make arriving and leaving our setting as easy as possible for all concerned if a child liked a particular routine such as particular staff greeting them we would always try to provide this.How are you/staff trained in extra needs?
Our setting always has at least 2 staff who are trained regarding SEN. Other staff also regularly attend training around illnesses/ conditions with could require sen support.What is your policy on compliments, complaints, concerns?
