Mahdlo is a registered charity and state-of-the-art Youth Zone in the heart of Oldham.  We offer an exciting range of activities and opportunities that all young people from across Oldham can access for just 50p as a member.

Mahdlo runs inclusive Ability Zone sessions alongside the mainstream offer, with activities adapted and support available for young people with additional needs or a disability.

Young people are able to access the sessions independently or if required they are able to come with PA's or a family member. Additional staff are on hand to offer support to young people if and when needed to ensure the best quality experience.

The aim of Ability Zone is to create an inclusive atmosphere, where young people can make friends with other young people breaking down barriers, creating an understanding of differences, whether it be ability, religion or culture.

Young people are empowered, and confidence is built over short periods, when they access Mahdlo.

Mahdlo offers a range of accessible spaces including a sensory room, sports hall and climbing wall, accessible gym, dance studio, arts and crafts area, boxing studio, outdoor kick pitch and a large ‘chill zone’ area.

All activities provided can be adapted to suit a range of abilities and needs.

In addition, we also have a range of mobility equipment for moving and handling.

Disabled parking bays are available at the front of the building.
