From 16 to 24 years old
The YMCA provide advice and vocational qualifications through business administration, customer service and retail apprenticeships. The programme includes maths and English training - Functional Skills Maths and English Entry 2 to Level 2 are available if you have not achieved a grade C at GCSE.

Discussed at interview (free for the unemployed and under 19s if not in paid work).
The apprenticeship route is open to 16-24 years and the study programme is open to 16-19 years.
Direct referrals are acceptable although referrals are accepted from the Job Centre, Careers Service, Kick Start, Positive Steps, Ground Work, Pupil Referral Unit and Youth Offending.

We provide full IAG and vocational qualifications in Business Administration, Customer Service and Retail on the Apprenticeship route.
While on the Study programme young people can have a work taster in any areas of their choice.
