Royton and Crompton School is a Specialist Science College, originally designated in 2004.

The number on roll is 1179; there are 83 teaching staff and a support team of 84. Year 11 pupils gain high quality qualifications that allow progress into further education, employment or training and a key element at our school is in the consistent high expectation for all pupils.

The school is a centre of curriculum excellence which is designed to be a catalyst for whole school improvement.
