Description

Young Carers work holistically alongside other family services and we can provide you and your family with different levels of support.

Oldham Young Carers defines a young carer as:

"A child or young person who, without payment, provides help or support to a parent, sibling or other family member, who could not manage without their help. This could be due to age, physical or mental illness, addiction or disability."

Our key workers provide a range of diversionary activities both during term time and during the holidays. We can also provide phone support, information and advice or one to one support to young carers when needed.
