I would discuss with parents what is required for a trip outside of the setting and incorporate those needs if necessary.How do you work with other organisations?
I make myself available to meet with any external agencies to discuss the child’s needs. I am currently working alongside a Teacher of the Deaf as I have 2 children with hearing impairments.How do you support children when they start and leave?
I have settling in sessions and speak with parents about the child’s needs. When a child leaves for another setting, I write a transition report to show where the child’s progress.How are you/staff trained in extra needs?
I work alone and have no staff.What is your policy on compliments, complaints, concerns?
I display Ofsted’s address and phone number for parents to see. I also have a complaints policy and procedure which I give a copy to parents.
