Welcome to Oldham Parent Carer Forum, the independent voice of parents and carers of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in Oldham.

These pages will help you to understand the role of a parent carer forum, what we do, who to contact and how to get involved so your voice is heard in shaping services in Oldham.

Oldham Parent Carer Forum host a wide range of events to engage with parents and carers of children and young people with Additional Needs and Disabilities (aged 0-25) who live in, or access services in Oldham.

Some events upcoming are;

- Understanding SEN Law Workshops - Multiple dates between January 2024 - March 2024

- Cuppa and Chat Drop in - Wednesday 17 January 2024 9.30am - 11.30am (From February, the sessions will revert back to the 2nd Thursday of the month.)

- Oldham Central Library Drop in - Monday 15 January 2024 12pm - 2pm

- Witherslack Group - Phonics and Writing Webinar -  Wednesday 31 January 2024 10am - 11am

- Cadbury World Trip - Sunday 25 February 2024 8:30am - £25 per person (Bookings can be made from 9am on Wednesday 3 January via 07783 143 737)

- Family Hub sessions - Multiple dates 

- The Short Breaks Play and Leisure Activities - multiple dates
