Description

Come and join us at The Hub, meet friends, learn how fruit and vegetables are grown, help us with gardening tasks and enjoy a share of the produce we harvest.

Monday afternoons 1-3pm:
Hub Only session for older people who are referred or supported and are over

Tuesday mornings 10-12pm:
Active gardening session open to anyone over 18 interested in growing food and helping grow for the foodbank. These sessions will take place either at The Hub or the Market Garden on the Northern Roots site. Volunteers must be physically fit and able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Wednesday mornings 10-12pm:
Hub Only session for people who are referred, for example through social prescribing, supported living or community mental health team.

Thursday mornings 10-12pm:
Active gardening session open to anyone over 18 interested in growing food and helping grow for the foodbank. These sessions will take place either at The Hub or the Market Garden site. Volunteers must be physically fit and able to work independently with minimum supervision. 

The Hub, Alexandra Park is located within the park but is accessed via a gate on Kings Road, Oldham OL8 2BH. This is just along from Kings Road car park (next to Ability Wheelz). Sessions are free, community sessions doing all things allotment related.

Accessible to all people with different abilities.
