Description

Oldham Local Studies and Archives holds the archives for the town of Oldham. The archives are held at Union Street, Oldham, and run by Oldham Council. The archives date back to 1597 and include local authority records for the areas of Chadderton, Crompton, Failsworth, Lees, Oldham, Royton and Saddleworth.

Ramped access from Greaves street and wheelchair accessible toilets are available.

Although it will not be essential to book your place as has been the case over the last few months, we encourage you to consider booking in advance as this enables us to get everything ready in time for your visit, particularly if you wish to view archives.
