Description

An intergenerational music group aimed at 0-4 year olds, their grown-ups and older people, held in communal rooms and community spaces. We work with care homes and sheltered housing schemes, through to community centres and places of worship.

We sing, move, play, make friends and have lots of fun! From songs and instruments to scarves and bubbles, our sessions are designed to bring a smile to everyone's faces.

Sessions are relaxed and informal, with refreshments provided at the end.

Full sessions really do make a big impact on boosting wellbeing and reducing loneliness. We can't say it any better than Sheila, a sheltered housing resident and Songs & Smiles attendee "I wouldn't miss it for the world. It's the highlight of my week."

At the moment we're keeping group numbers quite small. We'd love you to sign up and become a familiar face but understand on occasion there may be reasons why you can't attend a session you're booked on to. We just request you let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your space to someone else.
