Description

ClearVision provides a postal lending library of regular children's books adapted to include braille, so children learning braille can read with sighted family, teachers and friends, to braille-reading adults can read with sighted children.

We lend to families, schools and Vision Support services across the UK and Ireland.

It's free for families, who borrow 6 books at a time and change them as often as they like using the Articles For the Blind freepost service.

Membership is free to families; organisations such as schools, libraries and sensory support services pay a heavily-subsidised annual fee of £50 per annum and can borrow up to 20 books at a time.

For schools and services we also have around 1000 handmade tactile books in which all the illustrations are designed to be explored by touch, suitable for children age 3+, including those with additional disabilities.

Please note that (as with any library) what we can send is dependent on what we have in stock and what is already out on loan.
