The Holiday activities and food programme is a government initiative that aims to provide healthy hot food and enriching activities during the school holidays, primarily to children and young people aged 5 to 16 who are eligible for benefits related free school meals.  It is funded by the Department for Education (DfE).  The aim is for children and young people to socialise, learn and play during the holiday period, enjoy a hot meal and have fun. 

This form is for providers to submit an Expression of Interest in participating in the programme.

Please be aware that the form will 'time out' after 30 minutes of inactivity.

The closing date is Wednesday 15 May 2024.

Privacy Notice

This privacy notice is issued by the Oldham Council on behalf of the DfE. It is to inform providers how their personal information and information collected regarding attendees will be used by the DfE. For the purposes of relevant data protection legislation, the DfE is the data controller for personal data processed by the Oldham Council for the HAF programme.

Any personal information is used by the DfE to exercise its functions and to meet its statutory responsibilities. Any information will be securely destroyed after it is no longer required for these purposes.

As stated, information on participants will need to be collected and shared with Oldham Council. This will only take place where the law allows it and the sharing follows data protection legislation. Oldham Council will not share your data with anyone apart from the DfE and following the completion of the programme in April 2025 all your data will be securely destroyed.
