Computers and emails were not invented when the Post Office was built in 1877. People came here to post letters and send telegrams. This building was a Post Office and Sorting Office until the early 1970s and was then the Local Interest Centre and Local Studies and Archives for 50 years.
When you get home write a letter or send a postcard to a friend or relative to let them know you are thinking about them.
