We are investing millions of pounds to open seven new Family Hubs across Oldham to provide a wide range of activities and support for children and families.
As we move services for children and families into these new Family Hubs and other community buildings we will need to use fewer existing Children’s Centres across the borough.
We will be delivering the same services through new Family Hubs and other buildings at the heart of communities such as libraries, leisure centres, community centres and town halls.
There will be no reduction to any services as a result of these changes but these buildings will no longer be used as Children’s Centres. This process is called de-designation. We would like to hear about what you think about these changes so we can make sure you are getting the right support in the area you live.
