Oldham Council is bringing extra festive cheer to the town centre this winter with Festive Saturdays, a series of free family events running across four weekends from late November to mid December.

Each Saturday will feature themed walkabout performers, music, street theatre and festive fun designed to brighten up the town centre and encourage people to shop local.

Families can also visit Santa’s Grotto at the Market Hall from 12 to 4pm on all event dates.

Cllr Arooj Shah, Leader of Oldham Council, said:

“These Festive Saturdays are all about bringing a little extra magic to Oldham town centre. They’re a chance for families to enjoy free entertainment, support our local businesses and celebrate the season together.

“We’re proud to offer such a rich and creative programme for residents and visitors of all ages.”
