Andrea from Kidz Matter Day Nursery in Failsworth has shared why she loves her work so much.
“I started off as a level 2 apprentice and then I worked my way up. What I love the most is the impact you make to the children and all the different milestones.
"It's just a really rewarding job, seeing the difference you make and the enjoyment you bring to them, and making the relationships with the parents and all the different professionals that you meet."
"It's a job where you really see a difference. You really make an impact in education. The reward of getting to see the children go through all the different stages and when they graduate, and you attend that graduation ceremony, and you see that they started with you at eight months old and they're now four or five and they're going to school, I think it's just a really rewarding job."
And 18-year-old Macey began her journey in early years at just 16 and now she’s a proud Level 2 Practitioner at Kidz Matter.
"I just love seeing the impact you make on children, watching them grow and develop and it's lovely to watch and just make a big impact on their life and helping them reach those milestones."
"I've always wanted to work in nursery. As soon as I was at the age I could apply for a job, I straight away applied for a nursery," she says.
