For the team at A-Star Kids, every day is about helping young children find their confidence, discover their potential and thrive.
"My mum works in a school and when I was little I used to go with my mum and support her during the lunchtime as my mum was a midday supervisor in a school. It showed me I wanted to do that and that was the career path I wanted to choose" says Level 3 Apprentice Hessa Noor.
"I get to see them grow and develop over the years that they're with us. Seeing them being able to express their emotions, speaking to us, feeling comfortable and most importantly taking care of them. Watching children taking their first steps is a very big thing for us to see."
"I would highly recommend choosing this career as you're a big part of little children's lives. Seeing them grow on a day to day basis."
And Baby Room Leader Alia Shaffaq says: "I’ve gone back into work because my kids have gone into school, just like these babies are coming into nursery so their parents can go into work and they have their full trust in us to take care of their babies and toddlers. “This is definitely a career I would recommend to others. Every day is different.”
