What do we mean by Evidence?

Planning policies need to be justified by evidence. This evidence needs to inform the content of the Local Plan, and shape its development. Evidence can be gathered from a wide variety of sources.

Oldham Council publishes a wide  range of evidence-based studies, to inform and support the Local Plan.
