Lifelong Learning are offering a range of courses and qualifications that will develop your digital skills. 

These include beginners’ classes to more advanced sessions.

These courses may be free depending on your individual circumstances.

Digital skills courses

If you have never used a computer or have limited computer knowledge, this course will boost your confidence and give you hands-on skills that can be used at home or at work.

Entry level courses cover the following subjects:

  • General computer use
  • Basic Word Processing skills
  • Using the Internet safely and confidently
  • Using Email

NCFE Level 2 Certificate IT User Skills (ITQ)

If you have good IT knowledge, ITQ2 has a range of units designed to give you hands-on skills that can be used at home or in the office.

The following units are available:

  • Word Processing Software
  • Spreadsheet Software
  • Presentation Software
  • Improving Productivity using IT

EDSQ (Essential Digital Skills Qualification)

Learn the essential digital skills you need for life and work.

This course will enable you to engage with digital services and products in everyday life and work.

  • Internet and Email
  • Word processing and spreadsheet software
