Oldham Council and the Greater Manchester Integrated Care Partnership have a duty to meet the needs of children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Together, with parents/carers and in partnership with education, health and social care colleagues, young people, and a range of other partners, we have coproduced our local area SEND & Inclusion Strategy, which outlines our commitments to 2027.
The strategy sets out our agreed key priorities and infrastructure that needs to be in place for us to achieve our goals. Our continuing commitment is to work collaboratively with partners to ensure all children and young people with SEND in Oldham can thrive.
