In accordance with the requirements of the above act, the Council hereby declares a casual vacancy for the Crompton North ward of the parish caused by the cessation of the membership of Councillor Mr L Hamblett.
If within FOURTEEN DAYS from the date of this notice (not including Saturdays, Sundays, Christmas Eve and Bank Holidays) a request for a by-election signed by TEN electors resident in the said ward has not been received by the Returning Officer,
