- Nomination papers must be delivered by hand to the Returning Officer, Elections Office, Spindles Shopping Centre, Ascroft Street, Oldham, OL1 1XF between 9am and 4pm on any working day (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays) after the date of this notice but no later than 4 pm on Friday, 9 April 2026.
- Nomination papers may be obtained from the offices of the Returning Officer, Elections Office, Spindles Shopping Centre, Ascroft Street, Oldham, OL1 1XF, during the times stated above.
- If any election is contested, the poll will take place on Thursday, 7 May 2026 between 7am and 10pm.
- Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Monday, 20 April 2026. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
- Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of postal proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at the Elections Office, Spindles Shopping Centre, Ascroft Street, Oldham, OL1 1XF by 5 pm on Tuesday, 21 April 2026.
- Applications for a new Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Tuesday 28 April 2026. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/apply-for-photo-id-voter-authority-certificate
- New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at the Elections Office, Spindles Shopping Centre, Ascroft Street, Oldham, OL1 1XF by 5 pm on Tuesday, 28 April 2026.
- Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at the Elections Office, Spindles Shopping Centre, Ascroft Street, Oldham, OL1 1XF by 5 pm on Thursday, 7 May 2026.
