Sleep Success session for Practitioners - run by Seashell Trust

The Sleep Success workshop has been designed with parents and carers in mind, focussed on contextualising sleep issues and suggesting some strategies which may help.

This adapted session is aimed at all practitioners working with families and/or children and young adults with complex needs. It may be useful to have an understanding of the session, should you wish to refer families to the service, or just to increase your own knowledge and understanding of sleep issues.

Kingfisher Teaching School

Leadership Development is at the heart of schools in developing and preparing leaders for the future – providing structures for nurturing and growing leaders at all levels; encouraging people to lead and to help with organisational change and to develop professionally in terms of leadership skills.

The Schools with Schools partnership is committed to supporting the whole-school system through promoting learner-centred leadership.

Continuous professional development (CPD) opportunities are based upon effective approaches developed and implemented across a range of schools.

Our effective CPD is creative, collaborative and provides impact. We facilitate programmes which challenge participants, encourage collaborative learning with others and develop reflective practice.

Initial Teacher Training (ITT)

Kingfisher Special School’s Teaching School, Schools with Schools, has been involved in Initial Teacher Training (ITT) for over 6 years. We are passionate about enabling trainee teachers to develop the skills and gain a broad experience to support them in achieving the Teacher Standards, through hands on experience in a range of real classrooms with support, guidance and inspiration from outstanding classroom practitioners.

School to School Support is about building partnerships between organisations: working in collaboration to share and develop approaches that have demonstrated impact for learners. The Schools with Schools partnership believes that creative collaboration between schools can deliver sustainable impacts for learners and schools.
