If you have large items that cannot be given away, donated, sold, or re-used, the Council offers a bulky waste collection service for a small fee. We will collect items directly from outside your door so they can be recycled or used to generate energy.
Before you book a bulky collection
Before booking a collection, please consider whether your item could be re-used, sold, or donated.

What can be collected
You can book a collection for broken or damaged household furniture and electrical items that cannot be re-used, sold, or donated, and cannot fit in your standard household bins.
All items must be placed outside your home on the day of collection. The collection team cannot enter your property, so please make sure you have help to move items outside before booking.
Refunds are not available if items are not placed outside on time.
