Lees Brook Nature Park is in the heart of the Medlock Valley and is a haven for wildlife.

The park follows the River Medlock valley and has different sites (including Constantine Street, Bank Top, Breeze Hill and Holts). Each site has its own character - from wooded valleys to meadows with views of the Pennines.

It's a great place for walking, cycling and horse riding.

Playgrounds

Children can use the playscape on Constantine Street for play, exercise, exploration and confidence building.

The area also has play stop-offs - informal features that encourage children and their families to use the river valley and former railway track as routes to walk and cycle on, and to get to the playscape
