There is an official process for appealing against current planning decisions

Submit, search, or comment on an appeal

Timing of appeals

You must submit your appeal within 6 months of the Council's decision or, if one has not been given, 6 months from the date the decision should have been made.

Householder Applications have to be submitted within 12 weeks of the date of decision.

Appeals can take several months to decide, so it may be better to discuss whether changes to your proposal would make it acceptable.

Who can appeal?

Applicants or their agent can appeal a decision.

Third parties cannot appeal a decision.
