Information for housing providers
Our guidance document outlines the minimum expectations the Council places on housing (and care) providers seeking to operate in Oldham within supported exempt/specified status. The guidance supports new and existing providers to deliver high standards of sustainable support and care.
At present, the Council is not accepting new Supported Housing proposals while we review existing provision, assess current and future demand, and consider forthcoming regulatory and licensing changes.
To ensure that any future schemes align with the Council’s strategic priorities and emerging regulatory requirements, we kindly ask providers not to submit proposals outside of the Council’s gateway process at this time.
Your details will be recorded on our Gateway Tracker, and we will contact you should the position change or when the gateway process reopens.
To maintain a fair, transparent, and consistent approach, the same process is being applied to all organisations and individuals making enquiries of this nature.
