12 George Street Chapel

This Independent Methodist Chapel was built in 1815 by members of the congregation who were also builders. Walk round the back along David’s Street and you can see the houses and school room which were built under the chapel.

Can you imagine going to school here over 200 years ago? Either turn right to visit St Patrick's Church or turn left to walk back along Union Street to where you started the trail.
