4 Friends’ Meeting House
This building was built in 1868 as a Friends’ Meeting House for Oldham’s Quakers and became the location for Oldham’s Museum, where Freda Millett worked. Freda was a popular local historian and writer who made history herself when she became the first woman to receive a Civic Appreciation Award from Oldham Council in 2015.
