Oldham Time Trek Trail
Old Post Office
Computers and emails were not invented when the Post Office was built in 1877. People came here to post letters and send telegrams. Today this building houses Oldham Local Studies and Archives where you can find out about what Oldham was like long ago. This building was a Post Office and Sorting Office until the early 1970s and was then the Local Interest Centre/Oldham Local Studies and Archives for 50 years.
When you get home write a letter or send a postcard to a friend or relative to let them know you are thinking about them.
