Before you begin...

Payment must be made online at www.oldham.gov.uk/licensing. Click on the “Fees and Payments” tab. Follow the instructions and when directed to do so select the payment code for “Miscellaneous Licence Fees – K36455061D9”. Make a note of the reference number once complete.

Application guidance

You must complete all relevant sections of this application form, failure to do so may result in your application being delayed or withdrawn.

Your application must be accompanied by the appropriate fee as shown on our list of fees and charges

If you are submitting a new application, your application must be accompanied by a plan of the premises. While the plan need not be to scale it must include the following information:

  • All entrances and exits, including fire exits
  • Location of firefighting equipment
  • If alcohol is being provided, the location of the area(s) where alcohol can be purchased/obtained
  • Location of any stages, equipment, or props performers can / will be using
  • Location of any private booths and/or areas that can / will be used by customers or performers
  • Location of the changing rooms for performers
  • Location of all CCTV cameras
  • Location of CCTV recording equipment

Advertising your application

You must publish a notice of your application in a local newspaper. The publishing of this notice must be no later than 7 days after the date you submit your application.

You must also place a notice at or on the premises, to which your application relates; in a place where it can easily be read by the public. The notice must include the address of the premises and be displayed for a period of 21 days starting on the day you submit your application.
