Work experience
The work experience programme offers 2-8 week unpaid placements which allow jobseekers and students to gain valuable experience and skills to enhance their CV and give them something to draw upon in interviews.
They provide a glimpse into the working world and prepare you for working life.
12 week placements are available, but these must lead onto paid employment (i.e. a traineeship, apprenticeship or job).
Internships
Internships are similar to work experience, giving you skills and experience that will allow you to stand out to employers.
However the internships are targeted at university students or recent graduates to enhance career prospects.
