Rhodes Bank
Known as Rhodes Bank, this triangle is where Yorkshire St of the 1790s and Union St of 1804 meet.
Between them Bow St, the line of the old lane through town, emerges.
Rhodes Bank as a lane curves away round what was the Chronicle Office and while it led to the town’s gasworks it was called Gas St.
