HSBC, Union Street
This was originally the Oldham Stock Bank, later the Midland Bank and now HSBC, and is one of Union St’s listed buildings.
Thankfully still in use, it was designed by Thomas Taylor.
Building commenced in 1890 and it opened in 1892. It demonstrates an elegant french renaissance style.
