Library Garden
Sam Buckley, Chairman of the Library and Art Gallery Committee, opened the original formal gardens as a recreation ground in 1885. The gardens became known popularly as Oldham Park. In 2025 they were re-landscaped and transformed into a new public square with an open space where outdoor events can be held.
