Friends’ Meeting House
This building was opened in 1870 as a Friends’ Meeting House for Oldham’s Quakers.
The Quakers are a Christian sect who have simple services and no formal priests and are pacifists.
In the 1970s the building became the location of an Oldham Museum, but it closed in 1999.
