Young carers
A young carer is someone aged up to 18 who cares for someone at home who is unwell, disabled or has a mental health problem.
A young person may be a primary carer (the main person in charge of looking after someone) or a secondary carer (helping someone else, usually an adult, to care).

The Oldham Young Carers' Project supports young carers by offering:

- Advocacy
- Advice and information
- Group social activities
- Workshops
